Right here, right now, this is my favorite mug I've ever made. I was recently inspired to make them a subject of my art while catching them off the Irish coast. Although I have encountered them many times before while fishing in Baja, working as a sushi chef, and studying them as a fisheries biologist. Mackerel are some of the most beautiful, resilient, and delicious fish in the world.
