The cactus cruet
Hand carved and painted then dipped in glaze before firing with a controlled cool for a wonderful satin texture. Leave this by your stove. Bring it to the table to dress your salad. Fill it with dish soap and leave it by the sink if all you use is butter or tallow. Or put a cork in it (fits standard wine cork) and store your favorite high value liquid in something beautiful.
